Short answer: Tradovate is one of the brokers built into TradingView, so you can log a Tradovate account into TradingView's trading panel and place orders from the chart. Whether that works for a prop firm account depends on the firm. If you trade several accounts, want brackets on every entry, or also hold Rithmic accounts, Muunship gives you the same TradingView charts with those built in.
For a single personal Tradovate account this is often all you need. Check TradingView's and Tradovate's current terms for any fees or add-ons that apply to your account.
Muunship connects your Tradovate accounts and gives you TradingView charts with order entry built in:
| TradingView + Tradovate | Muunship | |
|---|---|---|
| TradingView charts | Yes | Yes, built in |
| Tradovate accounts | Yes | Yes |
| Rithmic accounts | No | Yes |
| Stop and target on every entry | You add them | Automatic |
| Copy to other accounts | No | Yes, under 50ms |
| Cloud risk guards | No | Yes |
Based on each product's standard features as of the review date. Check TradingView's and your firm's current terms.
