How to use TradingView with Apex Trader Funding

Last reviewed 2026-11-01

Short answer: It depends on your Apex connection. Apex accounts connect through Rithmic or Tradovate. A Tradovate connection can be traded from TradingView's Tradovate panel if Apex allows it for your account; a Rithmic connection cannot be traded from TradingView at all. Muunship trades both from TradingView charts, and copies each trade across your Apex accounts.

Find out which connection your Apex account uses

Apex sets up each evaluation and performance account (PA) on a data and execution connection, Rithmic or Tradovate. Your login email from Apex and your Apex dashboard show which one you have. It matters, because TradingView treats the two very differently.

Apex on Tradovate: TradingView's panel

Tradovate is one of TradingView's built-in brokers, so an Apex Tradovate account can often be traded from TradingView:

  1. Open TradingView's trading panel and choose Tradovate.
  2. Log in with the Tradovate credentials Apex gave you.
  3. Trade from the chart. The panel trades the one account you are logged into.

Apex on Rithmic: no direct TradingView connection

Rithmic is not one of TradingView's built-in brokers, so a Rithmic-based Apex account cannot be traded from TradingView. The usual workaround is to chart in TradingView and place orders in a Rithmic platform such as R|Trader Pro or NinjaTrader, re-typing every order. Our guide to trading Rithmic from TradingView charts covers this in detail.

Trade every Apex account from TradingView charts in Muunship

Muunship works with both Apex connections:

  1. Connect each Apex account in Muunship, Rithmic or Tradovate. Nothing is installed.
  2. Set your default stop and target distances once.
  3. Click a price on the TradingView chart to enter. The stop and target attach automatically.
  4. Drag the lines on the chart to manage the trade.

Several Apex accounts at once

Apex traders often run many accounts. Muunship's trade copier mirrors a chart trade from one leader account to your other Apex accounts in under 50ms, bracket legs included, and daily loss limits and auto-flatten run in the cloud for each account.

Read Apex's current rules on trade copiers and on trading the same strategy across accounts before you copy.
